Lord Judah
Cornell "Lord Judah" Carelock is an accomplished Teaching Artist, Arts Director, and Creative Place Maker with over 20 years of experience. He has been instrumental in integrating the arts into educational and community settings, focusing on youth development, social justice, and community engagement. As the CEO of Judah Bless Ent since 2004, Cornell has utilized the arts to promote healing in communities and individuals. Additionally, he is the Director of True He(ART) Academy, where he develops comprehensive digital arts curricula, emphasizing self-healing and resilience through artistic expression. Cornell has worked with numerous organizations, including Arts Westchester, Community Word Project, and Arts Connection, teaching creative writing, music production, and arts education with a social justice lens. He is recognized for his leadership in youth advocacy and artistic development, receiving various honors, such as proclamations from the Westchester County Board of Legislators and being named Arts Westchester’s Artist of the Month in February 2017. His educational background includes certifications in Creative Placemaking, Mindfulness Instruction, and AI tool design, among others.
